The Lollipop Kids Consignment Sale is mostly staffed by VOLUNTEERS and we need your help before, during and after the sale. You do not have to consign to volunteer!

Signing up early as a worker will give you a greater chance of getting a shift of your choice.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old to work. Please do not bring your children with you to your shift.

Why should you Volunteer?

TO SHOP EARLIER THAN ANYONE, GET FIRST DIBBS ON THE GOODS AND SHOP WITHOUT A CROWD OR A LINE!! EVEN RECEIVE A $10 CREDIT ON YOUR LOLLIPOP KIDS PURCHASE FOR  WORKING 3 SHIFTS OR WORKING AT LEAST ONE SATURDAY BREAKDOWN SHIFT.  ONLY 1 $10 CREDIT PER PERSON.

If this is your first time working a shift during shopping hours, be sure to let me know when you come to shop and I will give you a quick 101 course then. It works better to have hands on training.

Shifts are only 3 hours long. Even one 3hr shift helps out tremendously. The more shifts you work, the earlier you shop. Also you get to shop Friday night after closing for 1/2 off before the public.

We can also use dads as volunteers too! You guys can help with security and help when large items are sold (Usually during the opening hours of both days) or breakdown.

We have a wide variety of shifts available that can fit into anyone's busy schedule. Check out the schedule and job descriptions to get an idea of what's involved. We also have light-weight duties for expecting moms who need those items that sell first.

How to volunteer for the sale

1.   On the registration form just check the box that says “Would like to Volunteer”.  In the comment box put your preferred shifts.

2.   Call or email me with your preferred shifts (706-387-0055).

**REMINDER**If you do not show up to work your shift or have someone to work for you, you will be charged $25.  If you are not a seller you will need to mail me a $25 check as a deposit that I will return to you at your shift.  We need the help of all our volunteers and we count on everyone to keep their commitment.  Thank you!

Thursday (Public Sale Day)

All volunteers please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your shift to allow for instructions and questions. Please do not bring your children with you to your shift.

Want to volunteer but are unable to?

For those of you who want to volunteer but are unable to do so, we offer another way to earn your 3hr volunteer presale pass.  You may provide ONLY ONE snack Option for our volunteers.  This option is only available to 6 people, so email me fast…they go within the first hour of open registraton!!  Email me with the option # you would like to bring and I will let you know if it is still available.

Option #1:  Four - 2L bottles of Coke/Pepsi, Cherry Coke/Pepsi, Mr. Pibb/Dr.Pepper, Ginger Ale, Sprite products and two 24 count variety packs of individually bagged chips.

Option #2:  Four - 2L bottles of diet Coke/Pepsi, Coke Zero, Dr.Pepper Ten, Pibb Zero, Cherry Coke Zero products and two 24 count variety packs of individually bagged chips.

Option #3:  Four - 8ct individually wrapped (crackers, Cheez-its, Granola bars etc) and 24 individual packs of cookies (Oreos, etc)

Option #4:  15 boxes of any Little Debbie snacks (make it a varitety please)

Option #5: Three- bunches of bananas and a big bag of grapes

Option #6- Three- 24ct of bottled water

**Items need to be brought to my house in Jefferson by Saturday before the week of the sale, in case I have to make a run to the store. You must sign up and receive confirmation from me about which items to bring. You will given shopping credit once I receive your snacks.

 

FREE ADVERTISING =  3 VOLUNTEER HOURS

We also need any free advertising available for the sale as this benefits everyone involved in the sale. I do some advertising myself, but the more publicity we get, the more successful our sales will be! If you have contacts in radio, TV, newspaper, etc. – please email me and tell me how you can contribute for this to receive credit for 3 volunteer hours for each media outlet that we get exposure with. That is at a first come first serve basis with each media outlet and you must receive a confirmation email back from me to receive the credit. All advertising must be seen or heard to the public the week prior to the sale so that I can hear and see it too to confirm its been done!!! Handing out flyers is not accepted for volunteer credit, but it is greatly appreciated!!!
